Sometimes Saying Hello Is Harder Than Goodbye

When people ask me how many books I have out I have to stop and think.....the same way I do with my age - no lie! Once you hit forty you don't want to remember how old you are!

But in all seriousness, I cannot believe that I'm on number seven. When I wrote The Exception To The Rule I thought I was going to be one and done. I loved Kat & Julian so much and never thought that I would get so attached to another couple again and be able to tell a story. Then came Dailan & Nicole.....and then it became a little easier...... not to say goodbye to my characters, but to say hello to new ones. It may sound weird but I need to feel a connection with all of my characters, even the not so nice ones! If I cannot get into my characters 100% then how can I expect anyone else to? I will admit, after I wrote Will & Gabby's story I was having that "Kat & Julian" moment, thinking I would never write again because I would never be able to get into another couple like I did with them......well, guess what?I typed those two magical words in Becca's story "The End". And now, I'm missing Becca, Drew, Mason, and even Ashton (can't wait for all of you to hate on him!) Just as much as Will & Gabby. So, I'm moving on and meeting some new characters in my current WIP with an open mind. I'm about 5k words in....which is the "getting to know you phase" but I'm fairly certain that by the time I'm done, I'm going to be loving them just as much  too! Lucky for me all of my fictional friends are not far away....All I have to do is turn on my Kindle to visit with them anytime, day or night.....just like any old friend!

Blog Spotlight #5 - Just One More Romance

And for the last blog spotlight (but certainly not least) meet Shanean from Just One More Romance

Tell everyone a little about your blog and how it was formed:

Just One More Romance is a book blog all about romance books.  We love romance and read it all.  After many years of reading I decided to give reviewing a try so I started JOMR for fun.  It has been a wonderful adventure and I am so blessed with such an outstanding blog team.  But what I have enjoyed the most is meeting all these new authors, bloggers and readers. JOMR wouldn’t be a success without all of them.

What was the very first book that you've read that made you realize your love of books?
The one that started it all was Honest Illusions by Nora Roberts.  That one book I will never forget and still re-read over and over again.

Do you remember the very first book you reviewed?

I wish I did.  I would love to go back and read through my reviews to see how much they have changed over the years.

How many books on average do you read in a month?
More than I should. Approximately 10 to 15

If you could be trapped on an island for one whole day with any book boyfriend who would it be?
All of them. No, really I don’t think I could ever pick.  But when I think of a good book boyfriend I always think of Gunner from Wanted by Kelly Elliott.

Do you prefer paperbacks or e-books?

Both, I read on my e-reader and get the paperbacks to be signed and displayed on my bookshelves.
Boy next door or Bad boy?
Well today I would say bad boy.

Which female character from which book to do find that you most relate to?
Oh my goodness I don’t know.  I seem to find a little of me in each character.  I try to relate to the characters I am reading to help me connect with the book.

All-time favorite book quote?
“Everything has beauty. Even the ugly. Because without the ugly, there would be no beauty. Because without beauty, we would not survive our pain, our sorrow and our suffering.”

If you could have an author write a book using any male celebrity as their muse, who would it be?
That’s easy Channing Tatum.

What is your biggest turn-off in a romance novel?

A whinny heroine that causes trouble.  Drives me nuts.

Are there any topics that you haven't seen in a book that you would like to read about?
I read everything so I think I have pretty much covered it all but I am sure there are still a few out there that can surprise me.

For your book boyfriends… Do you prefer them covered in tattoos and piercings or clean cut?
I can take them either way.  It’s all about the personality for me.  I have to be swooned.

Do you judge a book by its cover?

I try not to because I have read some phenomenal books that just didn’t have a cover that grabbed my attention.
What’s your trigger word (a word that you stumble upon in a book that makes you stop and say, ”Did I really just read that correctly?” I come across a lot of these during sex scenes)

To tell you the truth I have read some pretty racy books so I have read my fair share of very inventive naughty words. I can’t pick one off the top of my head but when they use food to describe body parts I can’t help but laugh at the absurdity.

When it comes to sex scenes are you:

a. Hand me a fan, I can’t take my eyes off the pages of this book!

b. Ahhhh they're so in love, I’d like to hear about some of the details.

c.    Close the door I know what they're doing but I could use my own imagination, thank you very much!
A. Please give me all the dirty details.  Though in some books it is not called for and would ruin the book so I am flexible with the sex scenes.

If you could have one book turned into a movie and you could pick the actors to play the parts, which book would it be and which actors would you choose.

Familiar Ground by Michelle Lynn
Adam - Channing Tatum
Leah – Hayden Panettiere
And last but not least, totally not book related but just something I always like to ask people...What’s your favorite Disney movie?

Robin Hood – The cartoon with the fox and bear.  All time favorite.  I still know all the songs.

Thank you Shanean for letting us get to know you a little better!!

Blog Spotlight #4 - Reviews By Tammy & Kim and Giveaway

Today meet Tammy, Kim & Rachel from Reviews By Tammy & Kim and enter the rafflecopter to win an E-copy of A Cry For Hope!

Ps. I will no longer think of a Hot Pocket as one of those handy little frozen sandwiches that you stick in the microwave...keep reading you'll see why! LOL

Tell everyone a little about your blog and how it was formed

Kim:  Tammy and I had been discussing books and buddy reading for a while. One day Tammy had this idea to start a book blog, so she pmed and asked if I would help  her.  The initial name she chose was Confessions of an Overstuffed Bookshelf: Reviews by Tammy and Kim. That got to be too much to type out, so we shortened it to Reviews by Tammy and Kim. It blew up bigger than we ever imagined and kind of took over our online lives, and we have met so many wonderful authors, bloggers, and readers along the way. We brought on Rachel to help since Tammy is busy in school, so she joined the madness and is a vital part of the blog and does a lot of the reviewing along with me. But we did not want to have to deal with another name change. So we just added her to the headers and avatar when we redid our graphics recently, but kept the same name.

What was the very first book that you've read that made you realize your love of books?

Tammy: Ramona the Pest- Beverly Cleary

Kim: I remember loving Beverly Cleary and Judy Blume. I loved going to the library when I was a kid.

Rachel: I can think of a couple along my reading path. As a child, Island of the Blue Dolphins by Scott O’Dell is the first book I remember reading over and over (and owning several copies of). As an adult I am not sure it was a specific title that reminded me how much I loved reading, it was more about picking up the habit again and remembering how much I loved the hobby. If I were to try to list authors or titles, the list would be huge.

Do you remember the very first book you reviewed?

Tammy: Undeniable by Madeline Sheehan. Before the blog I didn’t really review much, if I did it wasn’t more than a line or two.

Kim: The first one I ever posted on the blog was Golden Dynasty by Kristen Ashley. But I think my first on Goodreads was Mystery Man by Kristen Ashley.

Rachel:
My first review for the blog was Villere House by Leslie Fear and C.D. Hussey.

How many books on average do you read in a month?

Tammy:  3-4 if I am lucky.

Kim:  I read a book every day or every other day usually. So probably about 25 at least.

Rachel: For the last year and a half I have been averaging a book a day. It started as a way to keep my mind busy instead of being a zombie in front of the tv, and after a couple of months I noticed how many I was reading and decided to challenge myself to read 365 that year. That was 2013 and I read 395. This year I tried to scale back my pace, but that hasn’t worked so well and I’m still at a little more than a book a day.

If you could be trapped on an island for one whole day with any book boyfriend who would it be?

Tammy: Um, do I really only get to pick one? Hmm…Kellan Kyle or Kane “Tack” Allen. I am a major Kellan girl, but I am thinking Tack. Not sure I can make this decision, I mean how can I leave Kellan behind…ugh, it’s too hard to decide.

Kim: Oh wow. So many. I think my first alpha male love goes to Cabe “Hawk” Delgado from Mystery Man by Kristen Ashley. And he could protect me. But so many have come after him that I do not think I can choose.

Rachel: I’m not sure I can pick just one. Decision-making has always been a challenge for me.

Do you prefer paperbacks or e-books?

Tammy: I don’t mind either or.

Kim: Ebooks are so much faster and easier to read for me especially since I often read at night. **Pssstttt ** don’t let Tammy fool you, she is a paperback whore. She loves to collect her faves. J

Rachel: I love the portability of ebooks and the ease of access, but there is still something about looking at a shelf of books that I love. I browse(and buy from) regular bookstores and my library, but the majority of my books are ebooks.

Boy next door or Bad boy?

Tammy: Most definitely the Bad boy.

Kim: Bad boy with a hidden vulnerable interior.

Rachel: I love reading both. But I married a boy next door.

Which female character from which book to do find that you most relate to?

Tammy: Samantha Matthews from Brutally Beautiful: Christine Zolendez

Kim: I am blanking on specific characters, but I like and appreciate more when the female characters are more real and curvy… not little perfect Barbie stick figures, and are also sassy and sarcastic.

All-time favorite book quote?

Tammy: "It's killing me baby because I don't want you to go another day without knowing how I feel about you. And I'm not ready to tell you I'm in love with you, because I'm not. Not yet. But whatever this is I'm feeling--it's so much more than just like. It's so much more. And for the past few weeks I've been trying to figure it out. I've been trying to figure out why there isn't some other word to describe it. I want to tell you exactly how I feel but there isn't a single goddamned word in the entire dictionary that can describe this point between liking you and loving you, but I need that word. I need it because I need you to hear me say it."
"Live. If you mix the letters up in the words like and love, you get live. You can use that word." ~Hopeless Colleen Hoover

Kim: I love that from Hopeless too. Hhhmmm…I cannot really think of any at the moment. But I am a sucker for the big declarations of love especially from the males who have a hard time saying it. I tend to go crazy highlighting quotes in my kindle. I cannot seem to stop myself.

If you could have an author write a book using any male celebrity as their muse, who would it be?

Tammy:  Although I have seen him used quite a few times, I would have to say, Ian Somerhalder.

Kim: Chris Hemsworth is often the hero in my head. And sometimes Josh Duhamel.

What is your biggest turn-off in a romance novel?

Tammy: Instalove and runners

Kim: Super fast die hard mushy gushy insta-love (Although I handle it better than Tammy does), runners, plot holes, characters acting against their nature, when the first time characters have sex he decides anal needs to be involved, and cliffhangers when they are supposed to be stand-alones. The more beta reading I do, the more I seem to look at plot issues more. And another little tidbit is that Tammy really dislikes a lot of heroines. Most of the time they annoy her to no end. J

Rachel: Characters who suddenly do things that don’t fit with their previous actions/personality.

Are there any topics that you haven't seen in a book that you would like to read about?

Kim: Not that I can think of off the top of my head. But I will say that I like how some authors can reach out there and add characters with special challenges (Mental, psychological, or physical challenges)  and give them a voice and make people fall in love with them and see that not everyone is perfect but they are worthy of love and understanding.

For your book boyfriends… Do you prefer them covered in tattoos and piercings or clean cut?

Tammy: The more tats and piercing the better!!

Kim: I can go either way.

Rachel: I like to mix and match!
Do you judge a book by its cover?

Tammy: Absolutely. If the cover doesn’t appeal to my attention I will skip right past it.

Kim: Most definitely. But if it is one of my known authors I am more forgiving of a less appealing cover.

Rachel: Often. It’s hard not to do.

What’s your trigger word (a word that you stumble upon in a book that makes you stop and say, ”Did I really just read that correctly?” I come across a lot of these during sex scenes)

Tammy: I read a book not too long ago where the hero referred to the heroine’s vagina as a hot pocket as well as a muffin. Uh yeah. Was definitely not my cup of tea.

Kim: LOL! This is such a pet peeve of Tammy’s. She hates it when they name body parts funky things. Lol. I get tired of hearing pussy and cunt over and over especially when they have to add adjectives to it for description. But I am also not a fan of special weird names for body parts either. And I get really sick of the fact that in almost every book, at least once he has to say how hot, tight, and wet she is. Lol.

Rachel: My memory banishes these shortly after I read them, so off the top of my head I’m drawing a blank. Though I can think of one scene where the character took it far outside the kink level that other scenes had gone, and beyond where it seemed natural for the characters — that one definitely shocked me.

When it comes to sex scenes are you:

a. Hand me a fan, I can’t take my eyes off the pages of this book!

b. Ahhhh they're so in love, I’d like to hear about some of the details.

c. Close the door I know what they're doing but I could use my own imagination, thank you very much!

Tammy: A little of each option, it all depends on my mood, the book and the writer.

Kim: A little of each, but I do need some plot with my sex scenes.

Rachel: Depends on my mood. I love all three.

If you could have one book turned into a movie and you could pick the actors to play the parts, which book would it be and which actors would you choose?

Tammy: The Beyond Series by Kit Rocha. No clue on actors.

Kim: I am excited about the possibility of the Lux series by Jennifer L. Armentrout that have been optioned. Not sure who would be the characters since I am so used to her cover models. I would love to see Kristen Ashley’s Dream Man series or Rock Chick series as romantic suspense movies. But no clue who could play those dreamy alphas. But movies do not often manage to surpass the books. Although I was recently pleased with The Fault in Our Stars and think The Hunger Games have done well.

Rachel: I hesitate to pick. I am rarely as pleased with movie adaptations as I am the actual book and my own imagination.

And last but not least, totally not book related but just something I always like to ask people...What’s your favorite Disney movie

Tammy: Tangled

Kim: Beauty and The Beast

Rachel: Beauty and the Beast and Brave.

Blog Spotlight #3 - The Whispering Pages Book Blog

Meet Donna from The Whispering Pages Book Blog in today's blog spotlight:

Tell everyone a little about your blog and how it was formed:

The Whispering Pages Book Blog began August 2013.  It was formed out of my love for reading and sharing the works of authors. After promoting and interacting with authors and other bloggers it just seemed like the next course of action.  To get my feet wet I guest reviewed for another blog.

What was the very first book that you've read that made you realize your love of books?

The first book that started my reading frenzy would honestly have to be Danielle Steele’s The Promise. I read that book while I was in high school and it has always stayed with me.  Of course as life takes over I found less time to read but reawakened by passion in 2012 and haven’t been without my kindle since.

Do you remember the very first book you reviewed?

The first book I reviewed for the blog would have been Scarlett Jade’s Beautiful Downfall.  However, the first review I wrote after returning to reading and realizing how important reviews were was for Jamie McQuire’s Beautiful Disaster.

How many books on average do you read in a month?

For the Blog that number honestly varies depending on the release date of the many “must read” authors I follow.  There are just some authors that I will move my schedule around for.  There have been months when I have reviewed for as little as 5 tours and as many as 10.  Reading for “me” is usually easier with fewer tours.

If you could be trapped on an island for one whole day with any book boyfriend who would it be?

Jesse Ward from Jodi Ellen Malpas’ This Man Series.  That man is like no other alpha I have met and he could trample me any day of the week.  3…2…1…Zero Baby!

Do you prefer paperbacks or e-books?

I prefer to read e-books but only for the convenience and the fact that I would hate to mess up my print copies.  I will purchase the paperbacks of books I loved with the goal to meet the author and have it signed.  I love adding signed paperbacks to my bookshelves.

Boy next door or Bad boy?

It honestly depends on my mood.  I tend to lean towards the bad boys.  They are usually more angst filled and captivate me quicker.  However, the boy next door can usually sweep me off my feet too!

Which female character from which book to do find that you most relate to?

Most relate to not sure, recently related to was Hope in A Cry for Hope.  I have a son approximately “Charlie’s” age and could easily adapt the story and Hope’s feelings to my own life.  The story held such truth and feeling that it was hard not to relate.

All-time favorite book quote?

If it was up to me, I’d make the world disappear and it would be just us.  Just you and me.  ~ M. Leighton

What is your biggest turn-off in a romance novel?

Insta-love and Love Triangles pretty much kill a book for me. I absolutely hate it when couples fall so quickly.  I know it’s a novel but I like it to be genuine.  Love triangles….kill me!  I generally choose the one who loses in the end and I am not a fan of cheating.

For your book boyfriends… Do you prefer them covered in tattoos and piercings or clean cut?

I like my fair share of both, but I will usually lean towards a tattooed/pierced man first.  They are usually a little more intriguing and dangerous.

Do you judge a book by its cover?

Absolutely!  I am not afraid to admit that the Cover is the first thing I look at.  If it gets my attention I look further.

What’s your trigger word (a word that you stumble upon in a book that makes you stop and say,”Did I really just read that correctly?” I come across a lot of these during sex scenes)

Sometimes the “terms” used to describe the intimate parts of a couple make me stop and take notice.  I recently read a series where I actually found myself cringing at the terminology.  I can understand wanting to be “different” but sometimes going with the norm is best.

When it comes to sex scenes are you:

a. Hand me a fan, I can’t take my eyes off the pages of this book! Love me some steamy scenes, especially when done right!

b. Ahhhh they're so in love, I’d like to hear about some of the details.

c. Close the door I know what they're doing but I could use my own imagination, thank you very much!

And last but not least, totally not book related but just something I always like to ask people...What’s your favorite Disney movie?

My absolute favorite Disney movie is Beauty and The Beast.

Thank you so much Donna for allowing us to get to know you a little better!

Blog Spotlight #2 - Three Chicks and Their Books

Now, meet the girls from Three Chicks and Their Books. These ladies cracked me up with some of their answers.

Tell everyone a little about your blog and how it was formed:

Lisa: Well Jen and I were in the same reading group but had never talked before. I had sent out a request to borrow a certain title and she answered it. We started to talk about the series, (I had actually read the series backwards!) that led to some quiry discussions and we bonded from that point on. We would toss around ideas for a blog based on some of the things we wanted to change that other blogs were doing. One day, Jen messaged me and said we had a Facebook page! We tested out lots of names until we came up with Three Chicks and Their Books.

Jen:  Yes this is true. We met when I loaned Lisa a book.  I thought it was a little odd that she read the series backwards but after meeting Lisa I have found myself skipping to the end of a book every now and then, just to make sure it’s a HEA.  It seems so strange but there are times when it just has to be done.  Lol

In regards to the blog, we had talked about it several times and one day coming up with a name I decided to create a Facebook page and here we are.

What was the very first book that you've read that made you realize your love of books?

Lisa: I was an avid Nancy Drew fan so my love for books came at an early age devouring that series, hiding under the covers with a flashlight way past my bedtime!

Jen: I was never much of a reader.  To be honest I hated to read.  Every once in a blue moon I would find a YA book that I enjoyed but other than that I would rather watch TV than read a book.  When Fifty Shades came out I kept seeing everyone post about it on Facebook and wanted to see what all of the buzz was about.  I read it and loved it and then read it two more times after that.  After that I moved on to another book and have been reading ever since.  It has become a passion and a bit of an obsession.

Do you remember the very first book you reviewed?

Lisa: The first official book right before we started Three Chicks was Michelle Valentine's Rock the Heart. We had become friends on FB and she wanted me to have the arc to review.

Jen:  Wow! I have to think about this one.  I think my first review that was not for the blog was Thoughtless by SC Stephens.  For the blog I think my first review was for Overwhelm Me by AC Marchman

How many books on average do you read in a month?

Lisa: I read at least one book every other day, some are for the blog, some are just for my reading pleasure. From the time I was a kid I was always a fast reader, so I can start a book that's 200-250 pages at 10:00 at night and finish it in one sitting. (Of course I might be asleep at my desk the next day at work!)

Jen:  I would say I read on average three to four books a week.

If you could be trapped on an island for one whole day with any book boyfriend who would it be?

Lisa: No brainer..I have to be sandwiched between Samantha Towle's Jake Wethers and Nicole Williams' Jude Ryder (I know, you asked for one, but this is my island fantasy and I need both!)

Jen:  Just one? That is too hard. Hmmmmm…..I think I would have to go with one of my first loves, SC Stephens Kellan Kyle but I can’t just stop at him.  Jodi Ellen Malpas’ Jesse Ward, K. Bromberg’s Colton Donavan and Beth Ehemann’s Brody Murphy.  Yes I picked four for just one day.  But really, who can choose just one.  I like a little variety J

Do you prefer paperbacks or e-books?

Lisa: E-books are more convenient. My Kindle has 1200 titles on it, I would need a U-haul to carry that many paperbacks! But, there is something about a paperback that I love-the smell of the paper, the feel of the cover...e-books will
never replace that special feeling.

Jen: E-books for me.  I love my I-pad and I always tell my husband that it is one of the best Christmas gifts that he has ever given me. I would be completely lost without it.   I love that I can just click a button and add another book to my ever growing TBR list.   But I also have a collection of signed paperbacks as well.  I have a bookshelf filled with signed books from my favorite authors.

Boy next door or Bad boy?

Lisa: Hands down-Bad Boy. My mom used to say to me that there
were two kinds of guys-the Flames and the Vegetables. Everyone knows vegetables are good for you, but who can resist the draw of the flame?

Jen:  I am going to say both for this one.  Yes I love a bad boy who is broken and damaged, a man whore, who finds the right woman and falls in love.  But I have also fallen in love with the boy next door as well.  One book that comes to mind is Flat Out Love by Jessica Parker, which I loved.  Matty the main character was a little nerdy but I completely fell for him.  There is just something about the sweet guy next door that I can’t help but love.

Which female character from which book to do find that you most relate to?

Lisa: Tie between Margaret Mitchell's Scarlett O'Hara and Jane Austen's Elizabeth Bennett.

Jen:  That is a tough one.  There are female characters that I can relate two for different reasons.  For example Nicole in An Unplanned Life because as a mother and wife I could completely relate to her life.   Or the female characters in Wendy Ferraro’s books because they aren’t flawless.  They have imperfections and insecurities, two things that I think most women can relate to.  It’s so hard to pick just one.

 All-time favorite book quote?

Lisa: "After all, tomorrow is another day." Gone With the Wind

Jen:  This is a quote that for some reason I will always remember.  “ I love you, Sunshine.  And I don’t give a shit whether you want me to or not.” -   Josh Bennett The Sea of Tranquility.

If you could have an author write a book using any male celebrity as their muse, who would it be?

Lisa: Ryan Gosling...just because...

Jen:  Oh boy.  I am going with Matt Bomer.  I just love him and to me he was Christian Grey.

What is your biggest turn-off in a romance novel?

Lisa: I have lots of these: I cannot stand when the hero tells the heroine to come on command (if it were that easy life would be quite different!) I hate when the hero tears the condom with his teeth (don't they know that there is a little notch in the corner that tears quite easily?) I hate when the heroine bites her lip (come on that one has been done to death!) and my biggest pet peeve is the obsessing over the size of the guys junk..bigger is not necessarily better!

Jen:  I am not a big fan of cheating at all.  Will I read a book that has cheating in it?  Absolutely.  And nine times out of ten I forgive the guy and still love him in the end.  There are certain situations where I completely understand why cheating was in the book.  But the “I was drunk and couldn’t resist or cannot remember  what happened cheating” drives me crazy.  And when the main characters break up and the guy goes and “tries” to have sex to forget her, also makes me nuts.  I have read plenty of books with cheating but for me personally I need a spoiler when it comes to cheating.  My issue is usually with the guy cheating.  Only because I fall in love with him, he is completely perfect and then goes and does something stupid like cheating…lol  Just kills me every time.

Are there any topics that you haven't seen in a book that you would like to read about?

Lisa: No, I think there are hundreds of variations for love stories but I think most basic topics have been covered.

Jen:  I agree with Lisa.

For your book boyfriends… Do you prefer them covered in tattoos and piercings or clean cut?

Lisa: Tats all the way baby! Piercings optional.

Jen:  Tats all the way!!  I find it sexy in books and in real life!  Just something about a man with tats.  Piercings I find sexy but depends where – I love a guy with a tongue or eyebrow piercing.  But I will take a sexy clean cut guy any day of the week as well.

Do you judge a book by its cover?

Lisa: Absolutely, without a doubt! Any one who tells you that the cover isn't important to attracting readers is crazy-I've bought books I never would have bought based on the blurb because I wanted to lick the cover.

Jen:  Yes and no.  The first thing that draws me to a book is definitely the cover.  If the cover is sexy of course I will look to see if it is something I want to read.  I have purchased many books because of the cover.  But there are also some books where the covers were not so hot but the reviews alone peaked my interest.  So yes it is the first thing I look at but I

What’s your trigger word (a word that you stumble upon in a book that makes you stop and say, ”Did I really just read that correctly?” I come across a lot of these during sex scenes)

Lisa: anal..anal is the new orange these days. I imagine proctologists are in ass play heaven these days with the shift from vag sex to anal in storylines. I don't have a preference either way, (in books anyway!) just pointing out it's the new obligatory sex scene lately.

Jen:  During sex scenes there are certain words for me that just ruin it for me.  Honestly, the words cunt and prick are two words that I hate in sex scenes.  To me those words have other uses and just ruin sex scenes for me…lol  Oh and juices, yeah that one drives me nuts.

When it comes to sex scenes, are you:

Hand me a fan, I can’t take my

Ahhhh they're so in love, I’d like to hear about some of the details.

Close the door I know what they're doing but I could use my own imagination, thank you very much!

Lisa: Hand me a fan, a glass of ice water and a BOB! (ok, the battery operated boyfriend isn't always necessary)

Jen:  Ahhh they’re so in love, I’d like to hear about the details.  Don’t get me wrong I love a hot and steamy sex scene just as much as the next person. I did read Fifty Shades three times in a row. But I am such a sucker for the emotion between two characters.  There is such a thing as too much sex in a book for me.

If you could have one book turned into a movie and you could pick the actors to play the parts, which book would it be and which actors would you choose?

Lisa: Arsen. Henry Cavill for Arsen, Ryan Reynolds for Ben and Jennifer Lawrence for Cathy

Jen:  I am horrible at choosing actors to play the parts of characters in a book. But as far as a book goes I would have to say Hopeless by Colleen Hoover.

And last but not least, totally not book related but just something I always like to ask people...What’s your favorite Disney movie?
