Thank You...

As some of you may know...or not know, I released my 16th book on Thursday. It seems so weird to be typing that because five years ago when I typed "The End" on my very first book, I said I was one and done. I didn't think I'd ever be able to get as attached to another set of characters again. Well, turns out, I did! So from Kat & Julian to Rose & Alex...and all the others in between, here I am five years and 16 books later. With that being said, releasing a new book never gets easier...it's a constant worry, that maybe you could've done something different. I'm happy to see that so many people are enjoying Rose and Alex's story. It's a light-hearted romantic comedy, that will hopefully put a smile on your face. Yes, rose is a spoiled, rich, brat (it states that right on the cover and in the blurb), but give her a few chapters and she will grow on you...it's all about character transformation, right?

So, thank you to all the bloggers who shared my new release, and thank you to all my readers who've read every single on of my books and continue to support me!

If you haven't met Rose and Alex yet and love a good enemies to lovers romantic comedy, check out their story:

Miss Demeanor is Live!!

Title: Miss Demeanor
Author: Beth Rinyu
Genre: Romantic Comedy/Enemies to Lovers
Release Date: August 16, 2018

Blurb

Spoiled. Privileged. Brat.

What others saw as entitled, I saw as standards, and mine were high, especially when it came to men. The boys I wasted time on in college were now a thing of the past. I was setting my eye on the real deal: Rich, successful, nice looking, good personality preferred—but not required.

I had it all figured out, I’d live off my family’s good fortune as I waited for my wealthy Prince Charming to sweep me off my feet. That was until my father decided to come up with his own ridiculous plan:

Move to New York City (good)
Take a job at a magazine owned by one of his friends (bad)
Cut me off financially after three months (worse)

All out of options, I headed to the East Coast to start my job. Feeling much like a princess being thrown into court with the commoners, I intended to fail, and fail miserably—that was until I was given an office with a view and my own advice column. Suddenly, working for a living wasn't so bad after all...except for him. Obnoxious, boorish, rude…take your pick. He was the exact opposite in my quest for Prince charming—except for nice looking and good personality not required. He hated me the moment he laid eyes on me and was determined to make my life a living hell whenever I was in his company. Little did he know, he had no idea who he was up against, I planned on matching his animosity toward me in ways he never imagined. But the funny thing was, the more he got under my skin, the closer he was getting to my heart, making me reassess the girl I once was and focus on the girl I wanted to become.

Excerpt

“So, Alex, have you thought of any ideas on how to incorporate the female staff into being a part of Him?”
All eyes were on him as he picked his head up from whatever he was paying attention to on his phone. I impatiently waited for his answer, knowing how much he didn’t want for this to happen. “Actually, I have.” He was upbeat with his reply, not at all what I was expecting.
“Okay, let’s hear it.”
“I was thinking about having them do something that’s the exact opposite of what they would normally do and then write an article on the experience.”
“Such as…” Mr. Andrews waited for him to elaborate.
“Like Laurie hates sports, so maybe have her go with Keith when he’s covering a game and write about the experience.”
“I like that idea. What are your suggestions for some of the other women?”
He cleared his throat. “I, umm haven’t really thought about it. I wanted to bounce the idea off you first and see what you thought about it.”
“I love it.” Mr. Andrews adjusted his glasses and looked my way. “What would you suggest having Rose do for her article?”
My face heated when I sensed all eyes on me. I dropped my head and stared at the table, just imagining what horrible adventure he was conjuring up. Skydiving. Fire juggling. Swimming with sharks. The possibilities were endless.

Author Bio

Ever since I can remember, I have always enjoyed Creative Writing. There was always something about being able to travel to a different place or become a different person with just the stroke of a pen - or in today's world a touch of the keyboard. I love creating deep characters who you will love or love to hate.

My life is not as interesting as my books or the characters in them, but then again whose life is? My happy place is a seat by the ocean with my feet in the sand or on the busy streets of New York City. You will more than likely find one of these places as the setting for most of my books,

Thanks for taking the time to learn about my books and me! If you decide to read them (and I hope you do!) please be sure to go on and review it for me - yes, even if you don't like them!

5 Days to Go!!

5 Days to go!!

Enemies to lovers romantic comedy!

Hey, hey, pretty lady…come here,” one of the residents shouted.

Rose stopped dead in her tracks and stared at the scraggly old man in bewilderment.

I grabbed her arm and pulled her along. “Just keep walking and don’t pay attention or take offense to anything they may say to you.”

“Oh, so treat them like I treat you every day.” She smirked.

8 More Days!

8 More Days!!

“I just wish everyone else could see her for what she is.”
“And what would that be, Alex?”
“A self-centered little bitch.”
His narrow eyes keenly studied my expression. “Do you really feel that way or are you just saying that to hide your true feelings?”
“What? Get the hell out of here! You stick with what you know best—computers—and leave me and my feelings to me. Which for the record, you are dead wrong about.”
He shrugged his shoulders. “Okay, but my mother used to say, ‘One would never put that much energy into hating someone unless they really had some hidden feelings for them.’ Just sayin’!” He flashed me a toothy grin and began to type away on the keyboard.
“Well, you can tell your mother I do have feelings for her.”
“Oh?” He raised his head from the computer with an inquisitive gaze.
I took a seat on the other side of my desk. “Loathe, despise, detest…shall I continue?”

Excerpt:
“Oh, I’m sorry, is filing papers beneath you?”
“No…I didn’t say that, but I’m not going to settle on a job I’m clearly over-qualified for!” I snapped.
“Are you?” he challenged.
“Yes, I am. I didn’t work like a dog for six years in school just to push papers around. A trained monkey could do that.”
He took a piece of paper from the pile that was on the table and handed it to me. “File this,” he requested.
“What?”
“Did I not speak English? File this,” he repeated.
I paced my breaths, willing myself not to lash out at him. He wasn’t going to get the best of me.
“Guess all that schooling didn’t train you as well those monkeys.”
I narrowed my eyes and pursed my lips, unable to deal with his insults anymore. I stood up and flung my purse over my shoulder. “You are a complete and utter….”
“Ah, Miss Perkins!” An older gentleman entered the conference room, stopping me from the pounding I was just about to give to Mr. Cheap Suit. “I’m Henry Andrews.” He rushed over to shake my hand. “I see you already met my nephew.”
“I have, and I was just leaving.”
“Oh, why is that.” He glanced at his nephew, obviously sensing the tension that loomed.
“I-umm…just don’t think this job is what I was looking for.” My eyes bore into his obnoxious nephew who refused to look away first.
“Now, Miss Perkins, I’m sure we can do something to have you become part of our team, after all, your father is a very good friend of mine.”
“Oh, well I really appreciate your kindness, Mr. Andrews.”
What the hell was I doing? I had the perfect excuse to walk out of here, even my father wouldn’t fault me for standing up to the horrible nephew’s behavior. But when I saw his nephew shaking his head over his uncle’s kindheartedness, I just couldn’t help myself. He clearly didn’t want me working here for some reason which made me in turn want to work there just to piss him off.
I sat back down when the older Mr. Andrews motioned to the chair.  “So, Miss Perkins, what is it you wanted to do with our company.”
“Please call me Rose.” I smiled.
“Uncle Henry, I already explained the position we have available to Rose and—”
“That’s Miss Perkins to you.” I interrupted.

"The End"...It Never Gets Easier!

A few days ago, I typed “The End” on my 16th novel. I could hardly believe it. I remember writing my first book and thinking I’d never write another one because I never thought I’d be able to become so engrossed in characters like that again. Turns, out I was able to. Just like your children, you have enough love in your heart for all of them. So, now I will be going into my summer hibernation, and take a little writing break, not because I want to, but because the words just don’t seem to flow as well for me during the summer months. I’ve accepted this, and don’t try to force anything that’s not ready to happen. I WILL NOT publish a book unless I’ve given 100% to the story-line and my characters.

This next book is so special to me. I fell head over heels for all of the characters, even the side ones! It’s an enemies to lovers story which are my favorite to write because it’s so much fun! I’m going to have an exact release date within in the next week or so, but it will more than likely be some time in August. I will also be announcing the cover reveal date too…and wait until you see this cover!

Here’s a little bit about the characters:
Rose: Spoiled rich girl, consumed with expensive clothes, shoes, handbags and rich men! Loves playing matchmaker to others, just doesn’t do a great job finding that perfect match for herself. She’s terrified to give her heart to anyone, and once you get to know her you will grow to really love her (at least I hope you do!).

Alex: Handsome co-worker of Rose and nephew of her boss. He has a major chip on his shoulder especially when it comes to Rose. Will she eventually be able to break down his walls? We shall see!

Lucy: Assistant to Rose and Alex. Awkward, fashion challenged and lacking self-confidence. With Rose’s help she transforms her in into the exact opposite.

Marisa: Co-worker to Rose and Alex. Tough around the edges and not Rose’s biggest fan at first, but then…we’ll let’s just say you’ll have to read the book to see what happens.

Brock: Rose’s “Prince Charming” delivered right to her inbox.

These are just a few of the characters, I’ve been spending the last few months with there are some others who you will find just as special too! I’m so sad to say goodbye, and I think once, you get to know them, you’ll see why!

Happy Wintriest Spring Ever

Hello there...how is everyone enjoying their spring so far? It feels more like winter where I am, but that’s okay because those cold gloomy days are giving me an excuse to stay inside and write! As some of you may know, I’m a seasonal writer (not that I want to be…it just happens that way). I write mostly all my books during the fall and winter. Once summer comes all creativity is lost. It’s frustrating, but in a way it gives me time to slow down and regroup.

And the winter of 2018 has cranked out one of my favorite stories to date. An enemies to lovers romantic comedy. I’m about two chapters and an epilogue away from typing “the end”, and I’m going to be truly sad to say goodbye to these characters who kept me company while I was trapped inside during many a snowstorm this winter. But all good things must come to an end and eventually, I’ll get over them the same way I’ve gotten over the others (I hope). Best of all, you guys will be introduced to them and hopefully fall in love with them the same way I have.  I’ll have more details in the coming weeks with regard to a release date, but as of right now it looks like some time in August.  I promise Rose and Alex will be worth the wait!

So until next time…
Love, Beth xo

A Message To My Readers

To My Readers:

It's hard to believe I released my 15th book on Monday. When I published The Exception To The Rule back in 2012, I was certain that would be my one and only. The a story popped in my head of a sexy, chauvinistic (but lovable Irishman) and a naive school teacher...Dailan O'Maley was created and the rest was history.

To me, writing is so much more than selling books and making lists. It's a form of therapy. I know whatever kind of day I've had, I can unwind by hopping on my laptop and entering a fictional world with my characters. When I wrote my first book, I assumed the only people who would read it would be my family and friends. Never in a million years did I think, I'd connect with people from all over the world through my books. Just knowing my characters are getting to travel around the globe to places I'll probably never get to visit, via my reader's kindles is the biggest reward in this whole writing journey I even forged some close friendships with a few of my readers.

I've slowed down a bit with my publishing, but that doesn't mean, I'm not writing. I've got a story on my laptop going right now that I'm so in love with.  I'll be sharing it with the world more than likely later this year.

So, as this release week winds down, I want to thank everyone who took the time to share my news, download my book, left reviews and just for all the support you guys always give that makes me want to keep writing that next book.

Lotsa love!
~ Beth xo

When Autumn Ends is Live! Have you Downloaded your copy yet?

I case you missed it, I had a new release come out yesterday. It's a contemporary romance/mystery/suspense type book that will have you guessing (at least I hope it does) until the very end.

I was at the top of my game until reality hit in a way I had never imagined, forcing me to face the living hell that had become my life. The ghosts and demons that once filled the pages of my bestselling novels now flooded my mind, consuming my thoughts both day and night. She was hauntingly beautiful, and I was drawn to her in the most unimaginable way. She was my breath when I had stopped breathing. She was my hope when I was drowning in despair. She was my muse when I had lost all motivation. But nothing good lasted—not in my world anyway. Like the last days of autumn when the beautiful leaves are stripped away by the long winter days, lurking in the distance; her caring ways and gentle soul were only temporary. Soon it would be taken from me, leaving my heart as barren as those once majestic trees. But unlike those autumn days, she remained, giving me the courage to face the cold, dark winter of my past while uncovering secrets and lies that could be the premise of a bestseller. Only, this wasn’t fiction, this was my reality—a reality I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy.

“Ethan, I don’t know what happened to cause you this pain you’re in, and like I told you before, it’s okay if you don’t want to tell me. But maybe you should talk to someone who could help you deal with it a little better and help make the nightmares go away.”
I shook my head and let out a let out a sarcastic chuckle. “You mean a shrink?” I didn’t wait for her to reply. “Been there, done that, and all they do is give me drugs to stop those nightmares from happening twenty-four hours a day.”
Her warm soft hand caressed the side of my cheek. “Maybe that just wasn’t the right one for you. There are hundreds of qualified—”

“That was really so cool. I can’t thank you enough for taking me.” She gazed over at me as she put on her seatbelt.
“It really wasn’t that big of a deal.”
“It was for me. I usually don’t get to do fun stuff like this. My weekends were always used to go over manuscripts that I didn’t have time to finish during the week. Now they’re just filled with spending it with stuffy old lawyers and their uppity wives while Brad tries to impress them. He would never dream of coming to a place like this, no matter how much I loved it.”Letting out a deep sigh, she pulled her sunglasses over her eyes. “So, thank you for giving me this once in a lifetime opportunity.”
I shifted back to park just as I was about to back out. “So that’s it. Once you get married, you’re never going do the things you want to do again?”
“Well, I-I didn’t say —”
It wasn’t my business, and I was totally overstepping the boundaries of whatever type of bizarre relationship we had, but it was like she totally let this guy control her. “Why does this place have to be a once in a lifetime for you?”
“I just meant, I’ll probably never make it back here again.”
“Why?” I demanded.
“I don’t know…geeze!” she let out a nervous laugh.
“Don’t let anyone take away your autumn.”
“I don’t understand what you’re saying.”
“Look at the trees around you. What do you see?”
She moved her sunglasses back to the top of her head and looked out the window. “An explosion of reds, oranges and yellows. It’s beautiful,” she whispered, focusing her attention back to me.
“Don’t let anyone strip that beauty away from you and fill it with the cold barren days of winter. Because once they do, it will never come back again.”
Her deep brown eyes burned into mine, holding all the power as if they were exploring the deepest depth of my soul. “You can still get it back, you know.” Her voice wavered.
Breaking her gaze, I stared straight ahead and whispered, “I don’t want it back."

I am the author of The Exception To The Rule, An Unplanned series, Drowning In Love, A Cry for Hope, A Will To Change, Blind Side of Love, Three of a Kind series, Easy Silence, and A Right To Remain.
